There is no successful show without volunteers! There are many ways to get involved, from assisting at concerts to helping us spread the word. Our volunteers are made up of people in the community who are as passionate about participating in the process of creating music as they are listening to it. When you volunteer you get a free ticket — including to sold out shows — and a free drink ticket.

We are rapidly growing, so we’re always looking for new artists and musicians who are interested in collaborating with us!
If you’re a young professional musician living in Portland and Seattle and interested in being considered for our artist roster, please introduce yourself by sending us copy of your resume and an audio sample.
For composers living in Oregon and Washington, the best way to get involved is by helping out at one of our shows! We love to work alongside our future collaborators and it helps us all get to know each other better.
We also hold an annual call for proposals — open to composers, curators, and artists — that offers an opportunity to curate a concert featuring the music of you and your colleagues.
One of Sound of Late’s goals is to foster collaboration between musicians and artists from other genres. If you’re a visual artist, poet, dancer, or other type of artist with an idea for a project, we’d love to hear about it!
Create with us! Our donors are crucial partners in the creative process, providing the tools and means for us to bring people together. For the price of a cup of coffee each month, you can help us keep admission prices low while empowering a new generation of voices — give today.
